The Great Lakes Regional Sporting Club does business as the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter.  Programs and projects operated by DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter are consistent with the stated mission of the Articles of Incorporation filed with the State of Michigan – promote the North American model of wildlife conservation; educate the public about the role that hunting plays in wildlife management; promote and provide programs and projects designed to encourage and protect the right to hunt; and, to provide and promote programs/projects that in the form of wish hunt opportunities for disabled or critically ill youth as well as members of the military and first responders.  The Chapter currently maintains Internal Revenue status as both a designated 501c4 and a 501c3 charitable organization.
